I consider myself very fortunate. I have had the privilege to practice law in Oregon for more than 30 years. I have represented businesses, individuals, neighborhood associations and public bodies in state and federal trial and appellate courts and administrative agencies. In 1995, I successfully represented an Oregon School District before the United States Supreme Court in a landmark case - - Vernonia School District v. Acton. I have donated thousand of pro-bono hours to representing underprivileged individuals and spend my free time volunteering with students in Portland Public Schools, teaching about the Constitution and the workings of our government.
Now, I have started my own firm to add another dimension to what I do: representing individuals in a wide variety of cases --both big and small. In this new endeavor, I work alongside the experienced attorneys at Levi Merrithew Horst PC, a small law firm specializing in criminal defense, civil rights, and juvenile law.
Whatever your legal problem may be, whether you are a corporation seeking a top tier appellate attorney or an individual with a legal conundrum, give me a call! If I can help explain your options, I will be happy to do so. If I can't represent you, I will help you find someone who can. I look forward to talking with you.
